AEW has a stacked roster of industry veterans and new comers. Tony Khan’s wrestling promotion signed several talents to multi-year deals. Though it seems that the time for some of them is coming to an end.

According to PW Insider, Marko Stunt is among a handful of names that have their contracts coming up this year. His last appearance for the promotion was in September 2021.

“Stunt has not been at AEW events of late and the Jurassic Express name has quietly been dropped in recent weeks with Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy simply being announced under their respective ring names.”

Word on the internet is that AEW head honcho Tony Khan intends to run out the existing contracts of several performers instead of signing them to a new deal. This is an example of how AEW plans to get rid of talents it no longer wants.

Joey Janela, Brian Cage, and Lio Rush are all expected to leave the company following the expiration of their contracts, with Rush announcing earlier in the day that he’ll be a free agent on February 14.
