There is no doubt that Samoa Joe is one of the most talented and accomplished pro wrestlers in the business. Samoa Joe had a very eventful first run on NXT before he made his way to the main roster in WWE. It seems Kurt Angle has an interesting take on Samoa Joe’s future in pro wrestling.
The Samoan Submission Machine returned to NXT after a run on the main roster and got released. However, he was hired back shortly thereafter and engaged in a feud with Karrion Kross.
Joe ended up defeating Kross for the NXT Championship at NXT TakeOver 36. However, Joe would then have to relinquish the title after suffering some sort of injury and was absent from NXT television for a long time.
Unfortunately, Samoa Joe was released by the company once again earlier this month. While speaking on The Kurt Angle Show, WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle talked about Samoa Joe’s in-ring future after his release from WWE. Angle believed that Samoa Joe is far from done inside the squared circle.
“I believe we haven’t seen the last of him. I think he has more time left, I think he has more in the tank and he’s gonna produce for the fans.”
Jim Cornette believes Samoa Joe will be a huge asset to AEW. We will have to wait and see what is next in store for the Samoan Submission Machine in the pro wrestling world.
