AEW has managed to stay afloat as a pretty huge wrestling promotion. It’s the third year for the up and coming pro wrestling giant and many of its superstars have concerns over their stint with the company.
Unlike WWE, AEW is known to keep its talent around even after their contracts reach their expiration. However, there are many superstars in the promotion who might stay, but there are also those who might get released.
Cody Rhodes is one of the superstars himself, whose future in AEW is uncertain as of yet. Joey Janela recently talked to Fightful, where he revealed his contract situation with the promotion.
Many fans previously believed that Janela had a lot more time with AEW. Janela revealed that his contract is going to be up in May, and he doesn’t know what happens after that. He stated that he would like to continue on with the promotion and that he enjoys working there very much.
Janela wants to bring both GCW and AEW closer together. Matt Cardona, who previously made his debut at AEW after his release from WWE, is going to face off against Joey at the The WRLD on GCW this weekend.
