John Cena is a 16-time World Champion and carried the company on his back throughout the PG era. Since 2017, John Cena became a part-timer in WWE and has appeared sporadically due to his busy schedule in Hollywood. It seems Cena opened up about his tough life before working in WWE.
However, John Cena was not always interested in becoming a professional wrestler and certainly had a long journey ahead of him before he could realize his potential as a professional wrestler.
When John Cena was 19-years-old, he was given a job as a limo driver, where he would drive Lincoln town cars to and from Logan Airport. Cena stayed at West Newbury, Massachusetts, Boston.
He was preparing for a bodybuilding competition at that time. While speaking on The Drew Barrymore Show, John Cena opened up about his tough life before becoming a professional wrestler. Cena revealed how he was often late as well.
“So I was always late, I mean late. I would pick people up two and half hours late for their flight. I earned every single expletive that I was called and I gotta hand it to passengers. They come up with some new stuff that I’d never had heard, and I grew up with four brothers.”
Cena’s life changed after he joined WWE in 2002 as he is now regarded as one of the all-time greats in pro wrestling and has already made his mark on Hollywoood as well.
