WWE released quite a few Superstars and members of staff since April of last year. The company previously released 14 Superstars from NXT and 205 Live and that included one of the mainstays of 205 Live, Tony Nese. Nese already commented on his release, stating that he can’t wait to work elsewhere. It seems he follows an extreme diet.
As reported earlier, Tony Nese had signed a contract with AEW last year. Prior to signing with AEW, Tony Nese spent the majority of his time on 205 Live. He also made infrequent appearances on the main roster. Unfortunately, Nese was simply underutilized in WWE.
Tony Nese is in impeccable physical shape as he certainly lives up to his moniker as the Premier Athlete. While speaking to Chris Van Vliet, Tony Nese talked about his diet. Nese revealed that he used to eat 600 grams of carbs a day and would usually use ice cream to fulfil that requirement.
Since arriving in AEW, Nese has largely been absent from AEW Dynamite apart from his TNT Championship match against Sammy Guevara. We will have to wait and see what is next in store for Tony Nese.
