Jon Moxley debuted at AEW Double Or Nothing 2019 and became one of the mainstays of the company since then. He is also confident when it comes to AEW getting more fans thanks to its diverse product. It seems Mark Henry is optimistic about Moxley’s return.
Jon Moxley’s body underwent a lot of wear and tear over the years of him competing in various violent matches. It led to him developing substance abuse issues and he entered into rehab for alcohol addiction.
After almost three months away from the squared circle, the former AEW World Champion is set to make his return to the ring. Moxley is set to defend his GCW World Championship against Homicide on January 23 at the Hammerstein Ballroom.
While speaking on the Busted Open podcast, WWE Hall Of Famer Mark Henry talked about Jon Moxley’s return to the squared circle. Henry stated that he believes Moxley will be even better than he was before.
“You know, I was very happy to hear that because it told me a couple of things. One that Jon Moxley is back working and that he almost certainly out of rehab. And I am genuienly happy for him on all counts. I’m hoping that he got a lot of clarity and understanding of where his life is going and who he’s working for. I believe that we’ll see even better Moxley from here on out.”
We will have to wait and see what shape Jon Moxley will be in once he makes his in-ring return later this month as fans are certainly excited to see him return.
