Wardlow Believes Haters Of Cody Rhodes Are Just Jealous

Cody Rhodes is one of the mainstays of AEW television and an integral part of the company behind the scenes as well. Rhodes has certainly honed his craft over the years in numerous ways. It seems Wardlow has an interesting take on Cody Rhodes’ haters.

For the past few months, Cody Rhodes has been on the receiving end of a lot of hate from fans. Fans showered boos on him during every appearance and called fir ohm to turn heel.

Fans simply couldn’t stand Cody Rhodes after he won the TNT Championship from Sammy Guevara during the Christmas edition of AEW Rampage. Fans continue to voice their disdain towards Cody Rhodes as well.

While speaking with PWInsider, Wardlow made it clear he is confused as to why people hate Cody Rhodes. Wardlow stated that he believes Cody Rhodes’ haters are just jealous of him.

“Yeah, it’s wild, man. I’ve been affiliated for two and a half years, almost three years now. And I have never had anything but a pleasurable experience with Cody. I mean, he’s literally the biggest reason I am talking to you today and that I’m in AEW. I have him to thank, extremely. But yeah, man, I don’t know where all that talk comes from. I don’t know if it’s jealousy, people just hating on him, but I’ve never seen him treat anybody badly and I’ve never had a bad experience with him.”

Cody Rhodes is currently isolating himself after being exposed to COVID-19, which is why he couldn’t compete against Sammy Guevara at the Battle Of The Belts event last week. We will have to wait and see when Rhodes will make his return to AEW television.
