WWE Hall Of Famer ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin is regarded as one of the best pro wrestlers to have ever competed inside the squared circle. However, he wasn’t always as successful as Austin made his WWE debut as the Ringmaster. It seems he wanted a feud with Randy Savage.

Steve Austin ushered in the Attitude Era and became the face of the company. His feuds with the likes of The Rock, Triple H and more helped define a generation. Kane also believes his rise to superstardom was an accident.

While speaking on WrestlingRambles89, Steve Austin talked about Randy Savage’s pro wrestling career. Austin admitted that he regrets never having a proper feud with Randy Savage as Austin believed the feud would have been magic.

“That would have been magic…When Randy was at his hottest and he was getting hot down there in Memphis and then Vince got him up in the WWF. And that’s when he had his hellacious run that he did.

And when I got hot in WWF, he was gone down in WCW. So, we just never crossed paths when the window could have happened for us both to jump through and enter into a high-level intense program.”

After a directionless Ringmaster gimmick, Austin pitched his iconic gimmick and went on to singlehandedly usher in the Attitude Era in WWE. The rest is simply history.
