Jake Atlas was released from WWE last year and then announced that he was stepping away from pro wrestling. His pro wrestling hiatus did not last long as he made his way to AEW and signed a contract with the company. It seems Jim Cornette really isn’t a fan of Jake Atlas.

Jake Atlas squared off against Adam Cole during a previous episode of AEW Rampage. During the match, Jake Atlas suffered a knee injury and caused many fans to be concerned.

It was said that he received an MRI after the match as well. Thankfully, Atlas revealed that he will be just fine and that it wasn’t a serious injury. While speaking on his Drive-Thru, Jim Cornette talked about Jake Atlas vs Adam Cole.

Jim Cornette criticized Jake Atlas for being a small, bland and boring wrestler. He added that there are numerous wrestlers who can do the things Jake Atlas can in the company.

“I will not eviscerate Jake Atlas. I have never met Jake Atlas. We saw Jake Atlas on NXT and I gave my opinion then and I’ll recap it – small, bland, boring, not a lot of personality, does all the moves just like any other wrestler in the industry.

I’m sorry this guy is hurt and I amnot wishing him ill but no – a bland, boring guy with not a lot of personality and a nice smile, not all that much size, doing moves and flippys and things, they got a hundred of those.”

It is certainly a relief to know that Jake Atlas’ knee injury is not a severe one. It remains to be seen when Jake Atlas will make his return to AEW television.
