Tony Schiavone delighted wrestling fans when he brought his classic voice back to the Turner networks with AEW. Schiavone has even found himself involved in storylines from time to time. The popular broadcaster will be staying All Elite for a while longer.
On the latest episode of the “What Happened When” podcast, Tony announced that contract with Tony Khan’s group has been extended for two years. The new deal will run through mid-2024. Schiavone first joined the company in August of 2019.
Tony Schiavone is a commentator on two of AEW’s television programs. The legendary broadcaster works on both AEW Dynamite and AEW Dark: Elevation which airs on YouTube. Schiavone has been a staple for AEW viewers and will continue to be for at least a couple more years.
Schiavone has been involved in plenty of on-screen drama during his stint in AEW. Tony’s friendship with Britt Baker is a recurring gag. The announcer’s son was also attacked by QT Marshall, leading to a match between Marshall and Tony’s Elevation broadcast partner Paul Wight.

The new deal will keep Tony Schiavone on the Turner family of networks as he approaches his 40th anniversary as a wrestling announcer on the same channel he began his career with. Fans will no doubt be excited to hear that Tony has re-upped with AEW. For Tony Schiavone, it could be the greatest night in the history of our sport.
