Roman Reigns is on a roll since his return to the company back at WWE SummerSlam last year. He returned as the Tribal Chief and truly reinvented himself. The change was several years in the making as fans clamored for it for so long.
The Head of the Table has certainly been very dominant as the WWE Universal Champion as he has remained the champion for well over a year now. It is unlikely he will be losing the title anytime soon from the looks of it. He has competed against several top WWE Superstars throughout that time.
The Tribal Chief is no stranger to breaking records and it seems he has recently achieved a major milestone once again. As revealed by Wrestle Features’ Twitter account, Roman Reigns has crossed 500 days as the WWE Universal Champion.
This puts him just a few days behind Brock Lesnar’s reign of 503 days as a champion. Roman Reigns is currently on his way to dethrone Lesnar as the longest-reigning Universal Champion in WWE’s history as well.
The company is currently building up a feud between Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns, where a title change could take place as well. We will have to see whether Seth Rollins will end up beating Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship or not.
