WWE has announced a couple of alteration to its corporate staff. Two new executives have been assigned today. Seth Zaslow has been appointed to the role of Senior Vice President & Head of Investor Relations.
Michael Weitz, a long-serving WWE financial officer, will be replaced by Zaslow. Weitz’s responsibilities will expand to include the treasury department, capital markets, and corporate development projects, in addition to financial planning and analysis.
Zaslow will be in charge of directing all areas of WWE’s investor relations programs and activities, as well as serving as the key link between the company and the investment community. Zaslow has more than 20 years of expertise working in investor relations and finance.
Before joining WWE, he worked as the head of investor relations for Virgin Galactic Holdings and AMC Networks. He has worked for Cablevision Systems Corporation and Time Warner in top financial and operational responsibilities. Zaslow graduated from Binghamton University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School.
I’m delighted to be joining the talented people at WWE. In partnership with the executive leadership team, this position will play an important role in driving long-term shareholder value.
Since joining WWE in 2006, Weitz has supervised the company’s financial planning and investor relations activities, as well as supporting important strategic initiatives like as the renewal of key content agreements, the introduction of the WWE Network, and the implementation of WWE’s share repurchase program.
Before joining WWE, Weitz held leadership positions at Time Warner and Dun & Bradstreet. Zaslow and Weitz will both report directly to WWE Chief Financial & Administrative Office Frank A. Riddick III.
