John Cena is a 16-time World Champion and carried the company on his back throughout the PG era. Since 2017, John Cena became a part-timer in WWE and has appeared sporadically due to his busy schedule in Hollywood. It seems Cena isn’t done with WWE just yet.
Cena shockingly returned at the WWE Money In The Bank pay-per-view back in July last year and immediately got involved in a feud with Roman Reigns. Their feud culminated in the main event of WWE SummerSlam for the Universal Championship.
The shoo-in future WWE Hall of Famer couldn’t defeat Roman Reigns, but he did get destroyed by former adversary Brock Lesnar after the conclusion of the event. Cena has not been seen on WWE television since his loss to Roman Reigns.
While speaking to Ellen DeGeneres, John Cena talked about his future in WWE. Cena wasn’t sure whether he will be there for WrestleMania 38 but promised that he isn’t done with WWE just yet.
“WrestleMania is usually in late March, early April. I don’t know if I’m going to make it this year. That’s a good conundrum to have because there are a lot of good opportunities coming up, which I would love to take. If all those things line up, I don’t know if I’ll be able to make WrestleMania. I will tell everybody watching, I’m not done with WWE by a long shot. That’s my home, I love it. I was able to go back during the summer for a few months and entertain audiences when they welcomed audiences back to arenas and I’ve far from had my last performance.”
We will have to wait and see when John Cena will return to the company as fans will always be glad to see the Leader of Cenation back in any capacity.
