Corey Graves Believes Bron Breakker Will Be WWE Intercontinental Champion By June

Rick Steiner’s son Bron Breakker has been a force to be reckoned with ever since he debuted in NXT 2.0 last year. His popularity soared every passing week and it is unlikely to stop anytime soon. He also previously addressed being compared to Brock Lesnar.

As seen on last week’s NXT New Year’s Evil event, Bron Breakker challenged Tommaso Ciampa for the NXT Championship in the main event of the show. In a true passing of the torch moment, Bron Breakker defeated Tommaso Ciampa for the title.

While speaking on the WWE After the Bell Podcast with Corey Graves, Corey Graves talked about Bron Breakker’s future in WWE. Graves predicted that Bron Breakker will be the Intercontinental Champion by June this year.

“I predict Bron Breakker is Intercontinental Champion by June. Intercontinental Champion, if not more, by June. I will say, just to cover my own you know what, I look at the Intercontinental Champion and the United States Championship as kind of that same level. I know enough about this place, I know enough about this business and I think it’s been a long time since we’ve seen someone like Bron Breakker.

Bron Breakker also celebrated his huge NXT Championship win with his father. It remains to be seen how he will be booked in the coming months as he is now the NXT Champion and whether he will be called up to the main roster this year or not.
