Seth Rollins’ time in promotions such as Ring Of Honor certainly helped him hone his craft before making his way to WWE. Rollins’ current obnoxious heel character never fails to annoy fans. On top of that, Rollins really doesn’t do scripted promos as such, just like Roman Reigns.
The Messiah of Drip made his way to Monday Night RAW in October and has been a thorn on everyone’s side since then. The Messiah is also quite outspoken as he lets everyone know what he thinks.
WWE finally teased feud between Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns on last week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown. However, they didn’t quite confirm a match between the two just yet.
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, the company plans on Seth Rollins facing Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Title at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. It was also said that Rollins is likely going to dethrone Roman Reigns for the title as well.
“The plan for Day 1 was that Seth was gonna be the WWE Champion coming off of the show and Lesnar was gonna be the Universal Champion coming off of the show. So Lesnar is now the WWE Champion. Seth was going to defend the title on one of the WrestleMania nights and then Lesnar and Roman were gonna be for the other title on the other WrestleMania night.
I was kind of told it’s gonna end up where it’s supposed to be. So I wonder if that means they’re gonna switch belts, like the Universal belt with Seth goes on RAW and the WWE belt that Roman would end up most likely, I’m gonna guess but Brock would have, would be on SmackDown.”
It remains to be seen whether Seth Rollins will end up beating Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship or not.
