Mickie James is a true veteran of the pro wrestling world as she was one of the mainstays of WWE’s women’s division during the mid to late 2000s. After being fired by WWE back in April last year, Mickie James made her way to NWA and then Impact Wrestling soon after.
Mickie James is set to compete at the Women’s Royal Rumble match, in a moment that truly shocked fans as no one expected James to be involved with WWE in any capacity after the trash bag incident.
She also defended her title against Deonna Purrazzo in a Texas Death Match at Impact Wrestling’s Hard To Kill pay-per-view. James successfully retained the title as well
After her successful title defence, Mickie James took to Twitter and set her sights on Smackdown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair as the two could certainly lock horns at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view.

Mickie James also previously stated that she wants to square off against Charlotte Flair before retiring. We will have to wait and see how James will fare in the Women’s Royal Rumble match.
