Britt Baker Is Glad CM Punk Called Her A Pillar Of AEW

CM Punk called Britt Baker one of the pillars of AEW in November of 2021. The Women’s World Champion was quick to thank him for his kind words. Dr. Baker thought it was a long time coming.

The “four pillars” of AEW were named by MJF late last year. The group includes Friedman himself, Jungle Boy, Darby Allin, and Sammy Guevara. Punk then said that MJF had been replaced by Britt as a pillar during one of his promos during their feud.

Britt Baker recently spoke about the moment on the In the Kliq podcast. Baker said it was about time somebody acknowledged her contributions to the company. Britt knew how important she was all along.

“I’m glad someone said it, because, I agree. I mean, you can’t say AEW and the pillars without bringing up my name, too. I’ve been here, you know, I’m the face of the women’s division, and women’s wrestling is just as important as men’s wrestling. So to say that I’m not a pillar? I mean, you need an examination. How can you possibly argue that?”

MJF has expressed his frustration at Punk’s comments. Adam Cole even said he would slap the cocky young star if he continued to mention his significant other’s name. Everybody keeps talking about Dr. Britt Baker.

Britt Baker knows she is one of the top stars who helped build the company. CM Punk and MJF will continue their feud and she is sure to be brought up again. Britt is just happy she’s finally getting her due from the Best in the World.
