Britt Baker Didn’t Want To Add Outside Pressure To Adam Cole About Signing With AEW

Adam Cole and Britt Baker are one of the most popular pro wrestling couples. Cole has to give his girlfriend a massive amount of credit along the way. Baker holds down two primary careers at the same time and continues excelling in both worlds.

Britt Baker recently featured on the In The Kliq Podcast, where she discussed Adam Cole’s addition to the organization in great depth. As she knew he was stressed, the AEW Women’s Champion said she didn’t add any more pressure to him.

I didn’t really have to give him any persuasion or advice or anything. We live together, he knows pretty much everything that goes on at my workplace, the behind the scenes, how it works, how it runs, and who’s all there. I didn’t know what he was going to do to be totally honest with you. I didn’t want to add any outside pressure. Because I knew he was already really stressed out about it. He had a lot of people in NXT that he was really good friends with and loved working with.

Britt Baker also mentioned Adam Cole’s fondness for wrestling fans. She argued it would be difficult to find someone who cared more about the audience, admitting that his devotion to them drives her insane, but she knew the AEW audience would help encourage him to sin.

Finally, Britt Baker explained how she knew Cole would join the company. She handed over the responsibility to AEW President, Tony Khan. She believed Cole would sign after seeing him because, in her opinion, there is no better boss than Tony.
