Alpha Academy Wins WWE RAW Tag Team Titles

RKBro made fine babyface RAW Tag Team Champions and that came to an end tonight. It seems that Randy Orton and Riddle will be going into the Royal Rumble without their championship gold after facing Chad Gable and Otis on RAW.

Alpha Academy are obviously going to stick around, because they were able to topple RKBro tonight on RAW. This was a strange situation, but it didn’t result in Riddle and Orton emerging as champions once again.

Orton and Riddle had a segment before the match where RKO urged the Orginal Bro to tag him in. In the end, that strategy didn’t work out. We’ll have to see what’s next for Riddle and Orton, but Gable and Otis are now tag team champions.

This is not Gable’s first go with tag team championship gold under WWE’s umbrella, but it does mark Otis’ first taste of a championship run.
