Liv Morgan is beloved by WWE fans, and she’s still not out of the running to get another RAW Women’s Title match. That name is known throughout the WWE Universe, but things were almost a bit different.

While speaking to Inside The Ropes, Liv Morgan opened up about the start of her career. She had options when choosing a name, but she wasn’t fond of them. The company gave her Liv Gallows as a name, and that is an interesting surname considering that Luke Gallows is around.

In the end, Liv Morgan, born Gionna Daddio, became Liv Morgan when she had to make a choice. It all worked out, because she loves that name.

“The real background is that you know when you arrive to the Performance Center. When it’s time to create your character you send in a list of names, right? I must have sent in three different lists of names. I thought, ‘Oh, my names are so terrible.’ All the names that I picked, they thought it was so bad. So literally I show up to TV one day at Full Sail for NXT taping and they pulled me aside and they were like, ‘Alright, you’re either Liv Morgan or you’re ‘Liv Gallows. I was like, I guess I pick ‘Liv Morgan.’ I always liked the name Liv I didn’t really like Morgan, you know, but I grew to love it. I grew to love it all.

“I found so many little puns to use Liv for and little fun little things I can use so. SmackDown Liv, You Only Liv, Once, Liv is live, watch me Liv. I mean, I can go on.”

Liv Morgan is going to get a big pop from the WWE Universe, but it’s more about the girl behind the name. We’ll have to see what’s next for her, but Liv Morgan is quickly becoming a veteran on the roster as the only surviving member of the Riott Squad who has avoided WWE release.
