Disco Inferno Thinks Wardlow Is A Bigger Babyface Than CM Punk

AEW’s roster is full of talented wrestlers, consisting of both veterans and the younger generation of talents. This includes Wardlow, who has been force to be reckoned with since his debut in AEW back in 2020. It seems Disco Inferno has a very interesting take on Wardlow’s upcoming match.

After his debut in AEW, Wardlow has always been paired up with MJF, as he is his bodyguard and enforcer. There is no doubt Wardlow has a lot of talent and for the past few months, the company has been teasing Wardlow eventually turning on MJF.

Wardlow is set to square off against CM Punk on next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, in a match that many fans believe will be the nail in the coffin for Wardlow’s relationship with MJF.

While speaking on the Keepin’ It 100 podcast, Disco Inferno talked about Wardlow’s upcoming match against CM Punk. Inferno stated that Wardlow needs to defeat CM Punk and then added that he thinks fans will cheer for Wardlow instead of CM Punk.

“Wardlow needs to beat CM Punk. AEW has been been building up Wardlow all these weeks with the squash matches, and he is getting over, and if he loses to Punk, that is what the company has been doing with big guys constantly. I do think Wardlow is hotter than Punk right now and I’m making a prediction here. Punk will be getting booed and Wardlow will get cheered next week.”

We will have to wait and see whether Wardlow will be able to defeat CM Punk or if Punk will manage to keep his undefeated streak alive in AEW.
