Samoa Joe is known as one of the toughest wrestlers to ever set foot in the squared circle. Joe has been an active competitor since 1999. There is a ton of talent, experience, and knowledge waiting to be used since Joe was released by WWE.

Joe was used as a commentator during the tail end of his run with WWE. The company considered his in-ring career over when he was let go. Samoa Joe will certainly show up somewhere in the future. The question is whether he will wrestle again.

Fightful Select has reported that several independent promoters are considering Samoa Joe’s services. Four long-time indie bookers contacted the outlet to express their interest. That would depend on Samoa Joe being willing and able to wrestle again.

AEW may also play a factor in Joe’s future. Impact Wrestling would love to bring him back. The possibilities are endless for Samoa Joe if he wants to pursue them.

Samoa Joe spent a decade with Impact before moving on to WWE in 2015. Joe was brought in by Triple H and quickly booked as an unstoppable force. NXT saw a run where Joe won the brand’s championship, but he was forced to relinquish the title due to an injury. It wasn’t long after that until he was cut by WWE.

There is no doubt that Samoa Joe will be one of the hottest free agents on the scene if he decides to wrestle again. The big players outside of WWE would love to have the hard-hitting grappler on their roster. Joe will have some big decisions to make regarding his future very soon.
