Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish recently reunited with Adam Cole in All Elite Wrestling. Bobby Fish joined the company in October. Kyle signed after on after his WWE contract expired in December. The trio formed the Undisputed Era faction during their time in NXT. Kyle has used the word “paragon” to describe the potential of the group on AEW television.

That may be the name AEW is going with for the stable. The company filed two trademarks related to the word on January 3, 2022. A logo was included with the trademark filings, according to a search of the US Patent and Trademark Office database.

The filing notes that the term is to be used within the context of professional wrestling. Both a word mark and an image mark filing were made by AEW. The description reads as follows:

“Entertainment services, namely, televised appearances by a group or individual wrestlers; Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Providing a website featuring entertainment information in the field(s) of wrestling; Providing an Internet website portal featuring entertainment news and information specifically in the field of wrestling; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a group or individual wrestlers”

Fans have been wondering what name the former Undisputed Era would go by in AEW. This filing is the biggest clue we have seen so far. It has not been confirmed that the name “Paragon” will be used for the group or for something else.

Adam Cole’s relationship with The Elite has begun to splinter since Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly arrived in AEW. The storyline is set to be one of the biggest of the year for the promotion. Cole is hoping his group can become the paragon of greatness in All Elite Wrestling.
