AEW President Tony Khan created a lot of hype for the AEW Dynamite debut on TBS after a switch from TNT. While this transition would have proved turbulent to some, Tony Khan rarely mismanages projects he puts his heart and soul into.

TBS’ AEW Dynamite had a lot of things going for it. The announcement of an Adam Page vs Bryan Danielson match definitely aided its viewership. However, AEW Dynamite’s TBS debut was so successful that it crossed 1 million in viewership.

Everyone who made the show happen was naturally thrilled to see such huge feat of victory to happen. Tony Khan was not remained unimpressed as well, and he took to Twitter to shower his appreciation to everyone working on the project.

Khan congratulated both the AEW staff as well as the wrestlers on their roster. He also said that the debut is a success given how the network bosses positively view it. He also added that the AEW superstars on the show both worked hard and also maintained a professional standard throughout their journey.

AEW Dynamite’s TBS debut received a total of 1.01 million viewers, according to Showbuzz Daily. The show even had a world title match, which resulted in a huge victory for Jade Cargill. Cargill now stands as the TBS Champion, which might not change anytime soon.
