WWE and AEW both felt the pandemic in a big way and each company has their own system of dealing with the predicament. WWE isn’t testing for COVID-19 anymore, but AEW hasn’t stopped that practice. Both sides were were recently hit in a big way as the 1/2 of the Young Bucks and the Head of the Table were taken out of action.

Vince McMahon’s company just announced that Roman Reigns is medically cleared to make his SmackDown return. He will be on the blue brand this week to presumably face off against Brock Lesnar. Matt Jackson and Brandon Cutler had to miss recent AEW television due to testing positive for the virus, but there is no word on when they will be cleared. There is better news to report for both of them.

During Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez brought up how Roman Reigns is now 100% cleared for his in-ring return. He will be on SmackDown this week, but that’s not the only good news. Over in AEW, Matt Jackson and Brandon Cutler’s case of COVID is getting better.

The other good news is that Matt Jackson and Brandon Cutler are feeling a lot better. I was told that both of them did lose taste and smell, so they’re still dealing with that, but they’re doing a lot better. So, we presume that they’re going to be back in action here very soon.

We’re hoping that Matt and Brandon can get better fast and test negative once again. This pandemic isn’t going away and it has taken long enough to not seemingly get much better. We will continue covering this ongoing story here at Ringside News.
