Zelina Vega’s Current Run Is The Shot She’s Been Waiting For

Zelina Vega made her return to WWE earlier last year after getting fired by the company back in 2020 for violating their mandates on third party sites. Vega is also a huge fan of pop culture, especially Anime and her fans are well aware of that fact.

Zelina Vega won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions with Carmella last year. That was not all as Vega also won the Queen’s Crown tournament in Saudi Arabia. 2021 was certainly an eventful year for her to say the least.

While speaking on the Cheap Heat podcast, Zelina Vega talked about her current run in WWE. Vega admitted that her current run is the shot she was always waiting for in WWE.

“I feel like this is the shot that I’ve been waiting for and this is the thing that I need to go, ‘Okay, you’ve been wanting for something for so long. This is the time to show them and prove them right. They gave you this opportunity. Prove them right.’ You know, and I always say give me the ball. If I drop it, screw me, but if you don’t do it, then you won’t know. I just feel like now more than ever, I have a fire under my ass like I’ve never had before.”

We will have to wait and see what is next in store for Zelina Vega in 2022 as she is certainly interested in becoming a top champion eventually as well.
