WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle has not returned to pro wrestling since his release, but that didn’t stop WWE from offering him a role. Angle also revealed the exorbitant amount of money he’d need to wrestle one more match. It seems Sabu has an interesting take on working with Kurt Angle.
Kurt Angle had a tremendous career in WWE, spanning multiple World Title runs and incredible matches. This is because he faced off against the best of the best the pro wrestling world has to offer.
While speaking on the Wrestle Buddy podcast, WCW legend Sabu talked about his experience working with Kurt Angle. Sabu gave massive props to Kurt Angle for his in-ring skills but then stated that Angle was very difficult to work with due to him being a perfectionist.
“Kurt Angle. Yeah, he was kind of a pain in the a** to go over a match with, kind of. He was a great wrestler and a great worker, but a pain in the a** to go over a match with. He kept wanting to fine tune it, instead of letting us do it in the ring. Kept finer tuning it. Yes, [Kurt’s a perfectionist] but so am I but I’m still a professional. I know what I’m doing, you know? I’m a perfectionist too but part of my perfectionist is that I call it on my feet or take it by ear.”
Vince McMahon also made Angle memorize a 3-page script in 10 minutes. Kurt Angle is enjoying his life in retirement after WrestleMania 35. We certainly wonder if he will make his return to pro wrestling one way or the other.
