Jon Moxley took a break from AEW television when he entered rehab in early November. He was already announced to make his in-ring return for GCW, but his AEW homecoming will happen sooner than that.
According to a report from Bodyslam.net, Jon Moxley will make his return to television this week. This will be a welcomed return for the Paradigm Shift, because AEW has certainly missed him.
Multiple sources that I have spoken to have confirmed to me that Jon Moxley’s return to AEW television is imminent, and could happen as soon as this week. One source told me, “I heard today but nothing concrete,” which would fall in line with AEW Dynamite’s big move from TNT to TBS tonight.
It was not noted whether he will be on AEW Dynamite in the Prudential Center or if he will come back at Battle of the Belts this Saturday.
Moxley’s absence from AEW television caused them to change up their AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament. He was previously set to face Bryan Danielson in the finals of that tournament at All Out, but Miro filled in.
Ringside News exclusively reported that Brody King is expected to make his AEW debut this week as well. We will have to see how AEW implements Jon Moxley back into the picture. Fans are certain to welcome him back with open arms.
