Jimmy Korderas Says There Is An Obvious Pick For Women’s Royal Rumble Winner

Jimmy Korderas spent a long time as a WWE referee. Jimmy knows how the company is run. Korderas is also extremely opinionated when it comes to wrestling. He’s seen it all.

The former official recently spoke with Wrestling Inc. Daily. Korderas gave his picks for this year’s WWE Royal Rumble. Jimmy said that there is only one obvious choice to win the women’s Rumble this year. Bianca Belair deserves her moment.

“I think, in my opinion, the obvious choice is Bianca Belair. Then she goes to WrestleMania and maybe main events the first night again.”

The men’s match wasn’t as easy to pick. Jimmy said it was hard to tell because there are several different options. He said Drew McIntyre might be the most interesting choice.

Korderas also discussed the potential for Bron Breakker to be a dark horse candidate to win the Royal Rumble. Breakker is clearly getting a heavy push from WWE. He captured the NXT Championship from Tommaso Ciampa last night. Jimmy believes it’s too soon for Bron to have that kind of moment.

The WWE Royal Rumble takes place on Saturday, January 29, 2022. The event marks the beginning of WrestleMania season. Jimmy Korderas thinks there might be some surprises, but anyone winning the women’s Rumble besides Bianca Belair would be a mistake.
