Hakim Zane is an American professional wrestler who used to compete under the ring name Rohit Raju for Impact Wrestling. Raju is a former Impact X Division Champion in Impact Wrestling. Zane spent over ten years on the independent circuit, including Ring of Honor (ROH), before joining Impact Wrestling. Now his time with Impact Wrestling has come to an end.
Rohit Raju is no longer a member of the Impact Wrestling roster. Raju announced via Twitter that he is now a free agent. He asked professional wrestling fans where they would like to see him in his next venture.
“As of today I am a free agent. Where would you like to see me next?”
He lost to Josh Matthews in his last match with Impact on December 18 at the Throwback Throwdown II special. He had previously lost to Josh Alexander on the Impact Wrestling episode of December 16th. In 2017, Rohit Raju made his Impact debut. Raju was a member of the Desi Hit Squad stable and held the X Division Championship for almost 100 days in 2020.
Between 2008 and 2009, he debuted under the ring name Hakim Zane. Zane began working in matches for promotions such as the National Wrestling Alliance and several NWA affiliates after that.
