Hook, who is the son of AEW commentator and former ECW and WWE star Taz, has been featured on AEW television as the silent enforcer of Team Taz. Many fans never thought he would ever wrestle. It seems Disco Inferno had some critique for Hook as well.

Hook impressed many fans in his in-ring debut. His debut did massive numbers on social media and racked up larger numbers than even Bron Breakker’s did. AEW held off his debut for a good reason as well.

Hook had his second match on AEW Rampage where he faced off against Bear Bronson of Bear Country. He defeated him in three minutes and since then people couldn’t stop talking about Hook.

While speaking on the Keepin’ It 100 podcast, Disco Inferno criticized AEW for Hook’s booking in the company.’ He especially criticized the psychology of Hooks matches, notably his match against Bear Bronson.

“Bro, he’s 180 pounds, he should be fighting like Ricky Morton, fighting from underneath. Whoever laid out that match, that was like a guy 100 pounds heavier than Hook, and at no point in the match they laid that out with the psychology of a big guy vs. small guy fight.”

The AEW roster was also ecstatic about Hook’s in-ring debut. Fans also believe Hook will become world champion in AEW someday. It remains to be seen what is next in store for Hook now that he has already impressed many within the company.
