Bobby Lashley won the WWE Championship after beating The Miz on Monday Night RAW back in March. Since then, he was booked as a very dominant force and had Vince McMahon’s seal of approval. Lashley then lost that title to Big E in a huge moment that fans will always remember.
For the past couple of months, Bobby Lashley was engaged in a feud with WWE Hall Of Famer Goldberg. Bobby Lashley was defeated at the hands of Goldberg at WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia on October 21st. After a brief absence, he returned to WWE television as well.
Following his return, Lashley earned the right to challenge Big E for the WWE Championship as well. At the WWE Day 1 pay-per-view, Brock Lesnar won the WWE Championship after defeating Big E, Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, and Bobby Lashley. Lashley was the only Superstar who had Lesnar’s number on numerous occasions.
While speaking on his Hall Of Fame podcast, Booker T talked about Big E and Bobby Lashley’s reigns as WWE Champion. He then stated that the two should form a tag team together.
“One thing I was thinking about that I would love to see, perhaps in the future… Man, I would love to see Big E And Bobby Lashley, with MVP as their manager, and they could be one of the most dominating tag teams this business has ever seen.
If they wish to go out there and do it together and get on the same page. I would love to see that. I mean, look at those guys, look at their bodies.”
As reported earlier, WWE is finally planning a feud between Lashley and Lesnar as well. It remains to be seen whether Big E and Bobby Lashley will ever be booked as a tag team somewhere down the line.
