Jeff Hardy remains one of the most respected and beloved pro wrestlers in the history of WWE. Since his return in 2017, he was one of the mainstays of the company and competed in various feuds. It seems his release threw a wrench in major plans.

Unfortunately, he was recently released from WWE. To add to that, Jeff Hardy even turned down rehab prior to his firing. News of his release has truly shocked the pro wrestling world to its core and many people reacted to it.

Drew McIntyre is out of action with a neck injury. He was written off WWE television after getting brutally assaulted at hands of Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss at the WWE Day 1 pay-per-view. Prior to Hardy’s release, McIntyre and Hardy formed an alliance and feuded with Corbin and Moss.

According to Fightful Select, Jeff Hardy getting released by WWE threw a wrench into the creative plans concerning himself and Drew McIntyre as well.

Ric Flair also recently stated that Jeff Hardy could easily join AEW. On the other hand, Jim Cornette recently said that it would be ridiculous for AEW to sign Jeff Hardy. We will have to wait and see what Jeff Hardy will do next.
