WWE Day 1 will kick off 2022, but it will probably look a lot like the events we say in 2021. It seems WWE has rejected many pitches for their upcoming pay-per-view, including some visual changes.

The company will carry on with the WWE Day 1 pay-per-view despite all of their current challenges. According to Wrestle Votes, there were several pitches given for the pay-per-view when it came to its themes and overall presentation. However, all of the pitches were rejected.

In coordination w/ the Day 1 theme, multiple presentation ideas were discussed regarding the look & feel of tomorrow’s PPV. Everything from different rope colors, mat colors, camera angles etc and from what I’m told ALL were declined. Sheesh.

Numerous WWE Superstars recently tested positive for COVID-19. In addition to that, the situation took a turn for the worse as more wrestlers and members of staff tested positive for the virus.

A huge WrestleMania angle also depends on them being able to perform at the WWE Day 1 pay-per-view. We will have to wait and see how the event will be received by fans in the end.
