WWE recently filed five more trademarks for new superstar ring names. Two of them were recently revealed to belong to some of the latest signees. Jaylen Williams, a basketball alumni from Penn State, will go by Raelyn Divine. Fitness instructor and model Faith Jefferies has been given the name Nikkita Lyons.
Nikkita Lyons will make her in-ring debut on 205 Live on Friday, according to WWE. Amari Miller will be her opponent. After working the WWE SummerSlam Weekend trials in Las Vegas, Lyons was signed in August.
On the independent circuit and in the WOW Women of Wrestling promotion, she was known as Faithy J and Faith The Lioness, and she was taught by Bambi. Miller has been wrestling on NXT and 205 Live since June, and his most recent losses were to Lash Legend on 205 Live on December 10 and Ivy Nile on NXT on December 14.
Friday’s WWE 205 Live will also feature Guru Raaj vs. Edris Enofe. Lyons also shared some recent Instagram images to promote her upcoming debut in the ring. Faith Jefferies and Jaylen Williams will be looking to make a name for themselves in WWE.
New wrestlers have been popping up on NXT broadcasts in huge numbers. WWE has initiated a collegiate NIL program designed to bring in top young athletes. The company continues to trim the fat as fresher faces prepare to become TV-ready.
