As reported earlier, several WWE Superstars recently tested positive for COVID-19. To add to that, the condition worsened as more wrestlers and members of staff tested positive for the virus.
Due to this, WWE has already started their Holiday Tour and several top talents were pulled from the events. In fact, the company has been holding back talents from touring to protect the Day 1 pay-per-view.
Now it seems the company has announced a match for the Kickoff show. Cesaro and Ricochet will be squaring off against Sheamus and Ridge Holland in a tag team match
The Day 1 pay-per-view will be taking place this Saturday in Atlanta, Georgia at the State Farm Arena, which will air on Peacock. The company is also working with the assumption that main event level talents such as Seth Rollins will be able to work the Day 1 pay-per-view as well. It remains to be seen whether that will happen or not.
