Tommaso Ciampa Teases 2022 Royal Rumble Match Appearance

Tommaso Ciampa definitely one of the most established Superstars in all of NXT. He has been involved in many memorable matches and feuds with the likes of Johnny Gargano and others in the brand. It seems he is hopeful about competing in next year’s Royal Rumble match.

The current NXT Champion has accomplished everything there is to accomplish on the black and gold brand. However, there are still quite a few WWE Superstars he has yet to face, especially on the main roster.

While speaking with Sports Illustrated, Tomasso Ciampa said that while WrestleMania is the dream for many, the Royal Rumble is more important for him. He then hinted at appearing in the Royal Rumble match next year.

“I know people in WWE dream about wrestling at WrestleMania, but for me, it was always the Royal Rumble. The idea of seeing who would return, the surprise of who would debut, even watching what Edge did last year, that’s always been the Rumble has always meant a lot to me. There are so many people I’d love to have an opportunity to share the ring with. So if that opportunity knocks, I’m answering.”

We will have to wait and see whether Tommaso Ciampa will make an appearance during the Royal Rumble match next year or not.
