After Eric Bischoff was removed from his role as Executive Producer of Friday Night Smackdown and Paul Heyman for the same role on Monday Night RAW, Bruce Prichard took over the roles for both brands. It seems his absence was not because of COVID-19.

Ringside News was exclusively first to report that Bruce Prichard was absent from multiple television tapings recently. In his place, Ed Koskey has been holding down the fort.

On the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about Bruce Prichard’s health status. Meltzer stated that he was told that Prichard was sick but it had nothing to do with COVID-19.

Bruce Prichard, I was told was not COVID, but he was sick.

We will have to wait and see just when exactly Bruce Prichard will be healthy enough to get back on the job. In the meantime, the company will move on without him.
