Chris Jericho Returns During AEW New Year’s Smash

Chris Jericho had to take a few weeks off of AEW programming as he toured the U.K with Fozzy. They excused his absence in the storyline by saying that he was beatdown by 2Point0 and Daniel Garcia. Le Champion picked up where he left off upon his return.

Chris Jericho returned during AEW Dynamite’s New Year’s Smash to run in for a save. 2Point0 and Daniel Garcia beat Eddie Kingston, Santana and Ortiz, but Chris Jericho was able to bring things back around.

It seems that Jericho is going to continue his feud with 2Point0 and Daniel Garcia upon his return to the company.

They also teased that Eddie Kingston didn’t need Jericho saving him. This is great news, because Jericho had doctors’ orders that he couldn’t perform for the last few stops of the Fozzy tour.
