Jimmy Wang Yang is a true veteran in the pro wrestling world, as he made a name for himself in WWE as a wrestler during the Ruthless Aggression era. It seems Yang’s time in WWE is over.

According to a report by PWInsider, Jimmy Yang is done with his role as a producer in WWE. Yang had a tryout beginning in October and he then decided the role simply wasn’t for him.

Jimmy Wang Yang has produced matches and segments for Monday Night RAW and Friday Night Smackdown, which includes Apollo Crews vs. Damian Priest from the November 29 episode of WWE Raw, R-Truth vs. Reggie from WWE Main Event, Street Profits vs. AJ Styles & Omos from the November 22 episode of WWE Raw, and Rick Boogs vs. Angel Garza from the November 26 episode of WWE SmackDown.

Yang first signed with WWE back in 2001 after the closure of WCW but was fired the year after. He came back in September 2003 where he had a run alongside Ryan Sakoda and Tajiri as Kyo Dai but was then released in 2005. He had one more run from May 2006 which lasted until April 2010. We will have to wait and see what is next in store for the veteran.
