Detroit, Michigan is a city with an unbelievable wrestling history. The Motor City has hosted two WrestleMania events. At WrestleMania 3, Hulk Hogan famously defeated Andre The Giant to completely cement himself as the top babyface in wrestling history at the time.

Grayson Waller made a surprise appearance in the big D to confront AJ Styles on Monday Night Raw. The NXT star shared his thoughts on the city via a video on Twitter. It wasn’t the most polite.

“I’m currently in Detroit, Michigan. I’ve been here for 24 hours and I’ve really only got one question. Why would anyone ever choose to live in Detroit? This place sucks!

I went from Sydney, Australia to Orlando, Florida, where it’s pool weather 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Straight up paradise!

And now I come to Detroit. It’s cold, it’s miserable, everyone’s sad. There’s barely anyone out. This place is dead.”

While Waller may not be enjoying his time, Detroit is still one of America’s great cities. Tons of money has been invested to revitalize the downtown area. Part of that was the very Little Caesar’s Arena where Grayson Waller made his heelish stand against AJ. It sounds like Grayson prefers the warm comfort of the Capital Wrestling Center in sunny Orlando.
