Happy Corbin is certainly one of the most versatile wrestlers in WWE, who started his career back in NXT before being called up to the main roster. Corbin also has one of the most impressive finishers in the company.
Pro wrestling in general has changed a lot over the years, especially when it comes to a wrestler’s finishing move. A finisher would indicate the end of a match but nowadays a finisher rarely does that in one go.
While speaking on Out of Character with Ryan Satin, Happy Corbin talked about his End Of Days finisher, which is one of the only protected finishers in WWE right now. He says more finishers should be protected and mean something in pro wrestling.
“No one has ever kicked out of the End of Days, ever, never letting anybody do it. I’ve wrestled John Cena at SummerSlam, I’ve wrestled Roman Reigns and I’ve held it. This is the one thing, I don’t want to kick out of any finishes, I’m a believer in making everything matter and make the finish especially matter. I want to punch you in the face one time and if you’re going to go down because if we do it on the street, the same thing is going to happen. When you hit your finish, it’s over, said and done. I really kept it tight to my chest.”
Happy Corbin even got death threats for hitting the End Of Days on Becky Lynch. We will have to wait and see what is next in store for Happy Corbin in the company.
