Ricochet has been regarded as one of the best in-ring competitors in the history of WWE. His excellent series of matches against John Morrison on Monday Night RAW back in July raised his stock in the eyes of fans. He also had a great time in NXT.

He has competed against the best of the best the pro wrestling world has to offer and made a name for himself in various promotions. This is especially the case in NJPW and Lucha Underground.

Ricochet made his way to Friday Night Smackdown but has not done anything of note there yet. For the most part, he has been involved in WWE’s infamous 50/50 booking again.

While speaking on his Hall Of Fame podcast, Booker T talked about WWE’s reliance on 50/50 booking. He used Ricochet’s booking as an example, stating that fans simply don’t want to see him booked like that.

”Ricochet being another guy, who has been in that thing where he loses one here and wins one there. You know, I just don’t think that is appealing to a lot of fans watching it, that really want to see Ricochet succeed.”

Ricochet also recently lost to Sami Zayn on Friday Night Smackdown. It remains to be seen whether the company will have anything proper planned for him or not in the future.
