The Office’s Rainn Wilson Wants To Fight Sting

The Office is one of the most beloved comedy shows of all time. While the show has many stand out characters such as the least self-aware person in the world Michael Scott, and the schematic softie Jim Halpert, the most menacing character of all was Dwight Schrute.

Dwight is a character who wants to compete with everyone and excel at everything, only to find that he can’t; and then doing it again. It seems Rainn Wilson is channeling his inner Dwight again, as he wants to take on AEW superstar Sting.

Rainn Wilson took to Twitter in order to let fans know that he means business with the former WWE superstar and legend. He told his fans and followers that not only will he take on Sting some day, but even emerge victorious.

Someday I will wrestle Sting. And I will win. You can bet on it.

Peacock’s Twitter account also made the announcement of Dwight Schrute’s return. Alongside announcing John Cena’s return as well, the tweet also made reference to Tom Haverford, who is played by Aziz Ansari in the comedy series Parks & Recreations.

There’s no apparent connection between Sting ever having any beef with Rainn Wilson or Dwight Schrute. However, Dwight as a character often makes the wrong people his enemies. Maybe a fight against Sting is exactly what Schrute needs in order to get his old (losing) streak back.
