Belief That John Morrison Needs A Break After Suffering So Much Damage From WWE

John Morrison was a highlight of WWE television ever since he came back to the company in 2019. Morrison previously admitted that his WWE return didn’t quite go as expected. It seems a former WWE writer wants Morrison to take a break from professional wrestling.

John Morrison has had incredible performances in the company so far and that includes his stunts at the Royal Rumble matches every year. Despite that, he was released by WWE last month.

While speaking on The Bro Show, former WWE writer Vince Russo talked about John Morrison’s plight and run in WWE. Russo said that he believes Morrison needs a break from professional wrestling after suffering so much damage from WWE.

“He would’ve had a much bigger spark coming in from Lucha Underground. It is simply better to take some time off for a while. Again, talent always rises to the top, if you are given the opportunity,” said DDP.

I think he has to take a break right now. They did so much damage to him over there in WWE. He is everything that DDP said he is and they just made him another name on the roster and he is so much more special than they gave him credit for. He definitely needs to take a little time off and come after that.”

John Morrison, who is now known as Johnny Mundo again, will challenge Hijo del Vikingo at Rey de Reyes on February 19th for the AAA Mega Championship. We will have to wait and see who will come out on top in the match as there is no doubt fans will love the bout between the two gifted athletes.
