Johnny Gargano Says Britt Baker Is A Diamond In Pro Wrestling Business

Britt Baker and Bron Breakker have both had an incredible run recently. This year, Britt became the AEW Women’s World Champion, no mean feat. Bron, too, has been impressing his fellow wrestlers for a while now. Johnny Gargano certainly noticed all of that potential.

Johnny Gargano recently took to Twitch, and while streaming, said some very nice things about Britt and Bron. Johnny recounted the days when Britt would travel to Cleveland, Ohio to train with Johnny and Candice LaRae, and stated how proud he is of Britt now.

She used to travel from Pittsburgh to Cleveland while she was in school, to train with me and Candice, I mean, that that shows you right there… I say this all the time. You can teach a lot of people how to do headlocks, hammerlocks, and how to do this thing, and how to do this correctly. But you can’t teach someone to love this. You can’t teach somebody to go above and beyond.

Johnny continued, saying that Britt has obviously gone above and beyond, and calling her a “diamond.” Speaking of diamonds, Johnny also had similar praise for Bronn.

The guys that get it, he’s one of them. He’s gonna be a star for a long, long time.

Britt will be facing Riho at the AEW Battle of the Belts on January 8, while Bronn will face Tommaso Ciampa for the NXT Championship on January 4. As for Johnny, he’s taken a break from wrestling to focus on fatherhood.
