Drew McIntyre is certainly one of the top Superstars in WWE as he cemented himself as one of the main draws in the past couple of years. He is a former two-time WWE Champion and was the face of the company during the pandemic era as the WWE Champion. It seems he wasn’t a fan of an old WWE storyline.

Back in 2010, one of the longstanding storylines in WWE saw Vince McMahon introducing the anonymous general manager for Monday Night RAW after firing Bret Hart from the position.

The manager would give emails to a laptop at ringside, which Michael Cole would often read out by saying, ”And I quote.” which really irritated fans. The storyline ended after Triple H and John Laurinaitis became regular on-screen presences. In fact, the general manager was revealed to be Hornswoggle, in a joke ending.

Drew McIntyre even talked about the infamous storyline recently. McIntyre also took to Twitter and blasted the storyline for being an utter joke.

That was a bloody joke, don’t be encouraging such nonsense. Absolutely nobody wants the anonymous GM back!

WWE is currently building towards a feud between Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre. Before that, McIntyre will be squaring off against Madcap Moss at WWE Day 1 on January 1st, 2022. We will have to wait and see if Drew McIntyre will get a title shot or not in the future.
