Before he made a name for himself as a boxer, Logan Paul did a lot of disturbing things as a YouTuber. He also became one of the most infamous personalities in recent memory. His brother, Jake Paul, might be called the “Problem Child,” but The Maverick has also stirred up his fair share of trouble.

On the other hand, Jake Paul has always been part of huge boxing matches and the hype he builds for each of his matches is almost astonishing. The YouTuber turned boxer also possesses a face that many people would like to punch, including his own friends. Jake Paul also loves trash-talking his opponents before his matches and it has been quite effective on each occasion.

Love him or hate him, there is certainly no denying the fact that Jake Paul is one of the biggest names in professional boxing right now. Jake Paul would also agree with this assessment.

While speaking on ESPN Sportsnation, CM Punk shared his thoughts on Jake and Logan Paul being two of the biggest names in professional boxing right now. Punk said that what the Paul brothers do is old school pro wrestling.

”Everything is entertainment. I think some people conflate being a fighter with being an entertainer. When it makes dollars, it makes sense. What the Paul brothers are doing, for the lack of a better term, it’s old school pro wrestling. You can say they are crossing over, but there are so many similarities between the two businesses. They command attention. People want to see them get knocked out and they know this, but they are putting themselves out there and putting themselves on the line.

I’ll never criticize in a negative way anybody who makes the walk, anybody who trains their ass off because I did it and I know what it takes. You put yourself out there and on the line. A lot of the times, a lot of the sacrifice goes unnoticed, but it’s what it is. [Floyd] Mayweather crossed over and did a match at WrestleMania, I’m sure we’re eventually going to see [Conor] McGregor come over. [Ronda] Rousey was excellent when she came over. The bottom line is making money. If you’re making money, you’re technically not doing anything wrong.”

Logan Paul was featured on WWE television as part of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn’s feud at WrestleMania 37. However, Jake Paul has yet to appear in WWE. It is likely their popularity will continue to soar in the coming months as well.
