Belief That Brian Cage Will Go To WWE

Brian Cage made a name for himself in various promotions before making his way to AEW. He also isn’t afraid of facing off against the most intimidating of opponents. It seems a pro wrestling legend wants him to go to WWE.

Brian Cage was engaged in a feud with Team Taz, after he was betrayed by them back in July. Cage was usually prominently featured on AEW television but his wife isn’t a fan of his booking in AEW as she ranted about it on social media. This even led to some heat on him.

While speaking on his Keepin’ It 100 podcast, Konnan talked about Brian Cage’s status in AEW. Konnan stated that he believes Brian Cage will make his way to WWE.

“I found out about him because Norman Smiley who works there as a trainer in WWE said ‘hey they’re releasing this guy and he is a good guy, can you help him in Mexico. He did a tryout match with Eli Drake, they were a team somewhere in California and they went for a AAA tryout and that is where I met him. He was always bummed that he did not make it in WWE so I think that was always his dream.”

Brian Cage has not been seen on AEW television since losing a street fight to Ricky Starks on the October 6 episode of Rampage. We will have to wait and see when Cage will return to AEW television.
