Baron Corbin has undergone several gimmick changes over the years since he debuted on the main roster in 2016. This included gimmicks such as King Corbin and also his current Happy Corbin gimmick. It seems he also received death threats after a controversial spot with Becky Lynch.

Back in 2019, Baron Corbin teamed up with Lacey Evans and engaged in a feud with Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch, who were the Universal Champion and RAW Women’s Champion respectively. It culminated in a match at WWE Extreme Rules 2019, which featured Baron Corbin hitting Becky Lynch with his “End Of Days” finisher. It seems this irked a lot of fans.

While speaking on the Out of Character Podcast with Ryan Satin, Baron Corbin revealed that he received death threats regularly after hitting the ‘End Of Days’ on Becky Lynch.

“When I hit Becky with the End of Days, I was getting death threats. On a regular basis. 95% of [critics] are on the internet or safely behind somewhere they can’t be accessed. Roman said it the best one time, that he’s never met a hater in real life. That’s the same kind of thing with me.”

Corbin is currently teaming up with Madcap Moss, who is his underling right now. It remains to be seen how his storyline will progress in the coming months.
